EMDR Therapy

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a research-supported therapy designed to help people process and heal from distressing experiences. When something overwhelming happens, the brain can have difficulty fully processing it, leaving you feeling stuck in the past. EMDR uses guided eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation to help your brain reprocess these memories in a way that reduces their emotional intensity. Many clients find that what once felt overwhelming becomes more manageable, allowing them to move forward with greater clarity, relief, and confidence.

Play Therapy

Play therapy is a developmentally appropriate approach that helps children express themselves, process emotions, and work through challenges using play—their natural language. Through activities like games, art, and imaginative play, children can communicate thoughts and feelings they may not yet have the words for. In a safe and supportive environment, play therapy helps children build coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and strengthen confidence while working through concerns such as anxiety, behavioral difficulties, or life transitions.
